-->...the western part of the square must not remain without buildings. After 2010 new constructions will begin and I can only hope that the new building will respect the ancient atmosphere of the Castle district. Until 2010 also the ex-Headquarters of the hungarian Army will be restored, wich is currently the biggest shame of the castle (in ruins since 62 years and than the communists pulled down 2 floors and the rest of the cupola).
But let`s return t the cellars: for me the biggest attraction was the very old well wich can be found in one of the deepest cellars. You can still see the water at the found!
I`m very happy to have visited these cellars, it was a fantastic experience for me. These are much more authenic than the famous Castle disrict labirinth. If you visit one day Budapest and you will find this place open, I highly recomend a visit to these cellars to make a real JUMP IN THE PAST!
