Café Antik: "Old world ambience" Top 5 Page for this destination Schwerin Restaurant Tip by SSlatter

Schwerin Restaurants: 11 reviews and 1 photos

Café Antik is a café largely frequented by locals, and although it is a bit off the beaten track, is well worth a visit if you want to see how the germans relax and take it easy. Decorated with antique furniture and nick-nacks, it is very comfortable and has a pleasant soothing ambience. The resident landlady is very friendly and polite. As would be expected, it offers coffee and all the sundry alcoholic drinks that you would expect to find, as well as, if I remember rightly, some snacks as well. A good place to hunt out to relax and chat with the locals. It opens daily from 3 o'clock until late (one night we were served at 1 o'clock in the morning) but the opening time is a bit variable, as the landlady may not be fully ready at three in the afternoon. Recommended.
