"JAPANESE & CHINESE GARDENS" Singapore Favorite Tip by Adeline_Foo

Singapore General: 441 reviews and 444 photos

Favorite thing: Situated side by side, the CHINESE and JAPANESE GARDENS reflects contrasting landscapes. The 13-hectare Chinese garden re-creates a classical Chinese imperial garden with twin pagodas, rockeries, a tea gallery and other Chinese architecture. The Japanese Garden, on the other hand, emphasizes simplicity, with stone lanterns, shrubs, Zen rock gardens, traditional summer houses and classical Japanese motifs creating a soothing atmosphere

It is open from 9 am to 6 pm daily. You just need about 1 hour to see all. Admission charges are S$4.50 for adults and S$2 for children. To get there, it is just a short walk from Chinese Garden MRT
