Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco: 249 reviews and 410 photos

GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE - Even if you've seen the pictures a thousand times, it's still nothing compared to walking across the bridge, seeing the bay from the bridge, looking down from Marin with the bridge framing the city.
It's gorgeous, both an engineering and an asthetic marvel. I once took a whole roll of film of just the bridge and I still went back for more... Check out if there are any surfers below the bridge. Also, if you've seen the movie Vertigo, Fort Point is where Kim Novak jumps into the bay (with Jimmy Stewart to the rescue)
