  Masterpieces at the Louvre
by Laura_Mexico

Here are probably the 3 best-known masterpieces that you can admire at the Louvre: The Victory of Samotrace, the Venus of Milo and the Giocconda.

These art works are not located close to each other -- the Giocconda has been recently relocated and I don't know where it is currently displayed, but the 3 pieces used to be far from each other when I last visited the museum. Anyhow, you'll be able to get a map of the museum when you purchase your ticket and then you can see where they are placed (they are clearly identified in the floor plan). Plan your way between one and the next, and be patient because there will be a bunch of people trying to take pictures (or standing on your way when you try to make one yourself) of these items.
