St. Franciszek Seraficki Church - francyscan-bernardyn church is situated on the side of old town.
Franciscans came to Poznan in 1455 and in begining built a wooden temple outside the town walls (suburb Piaski). And before year 1473 walled church was built. Gothic church was destroyed by Swedens in 1655. In 1661-68 new baroque temple was created by Krzysztof Bonadur and Jerzy Catenazzi. At the time of renovation in 1730 new tower helmets by project of Jan Stier from Leszno were built. Tower helmets are 67 metres tall. One-naved interior has baroque forms.
