"Myrtle Beach Pelicans -minor league baseball" Myrtle Beach Things to Do Tip by Tom_In_Madison

The Atlanta Braves minor league team plays here in a new stadium, very near the airport. Season runs about May thru September.
Their pelican mascot is named Splash, and is attired in beachwear--go figure. ;)
Tickets run about $7-$9, and all seats are very near home plate, except for a few along the foul lines in right and left field. Costs of food/drink are slightly less than in a major league park. They also have a burrito area in the concessions area so Mexican food is plentiful! Yea!
Parking is free, and you're very close to the stadium. They do a lot of giveaways, t-shirts and the like and they throw them in the stands. Most of them are tossed behind their dugout on the 1st base side, so if you want in on those....sit in sections 105 & 106.
Address: 1251 21st Ave. N
Directions: Very near the airport. Enter from Grissom Parkway.
