Unique Qualities: This is a gorgeous hotel! As you enter the Bellagio from the street, you can ride up the moving walkways. As you go up the moving walkway, my favorite opera singer, Andrea Bocelli, is usually playing from the outside speakers, setting the atmosphere. The Bellagio offers a monorail to the Monte Carlo, which is really nice and has saved my feet several times. The indoor garden, The Conservatory, is beautiful and smells incredible. My only hesitation is this hotel for some reason, attracts cigar smokers.
The Bellagio has 3,000 rooms and offers concierge services, hair dryers, irons, same-day laundry and dry cleaning, twice-daily housekeeping service.
For the gamblers: 116,000 sq. ft. Casino games include Blackjack, Caribbean Stud Poker, Craps, Keno, Let It Ride, Poker, Pai Gow Poker, Roulette, Sportsbook, Slots, Big Six, Baccarat, Megabucks.
Twelve specialty restaurants to tantalize your taste buds: Aqua, Cafe Bellagio, Le Cirque, Circo, Sam's American, Olives, Jasmine, Shintaro, Prime, Noodles, Picasso, The Buffet, and Cafe Gelato, Palio, Petrossian Bar, Pool Cafe and Sam's Snacks.
Miscellaneous information: 1,800-seat showroom features the show 'O' from Cirque du Soleil, The Fountains at Bellagio is a water and light show choreographed to music, Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art.
It takes a staff of 115 to maintain the flowers and plants in the conservatory area. The glass flower sculpture on the ceiling in the lobby features 2,000 individually-blown glass pieces and covers 2,000 square feet of ceiling. The fountains span 1,000 feet of water and soar as high as 240 feet in the air.
