Sowjetisches Ehrenmal is a huge monument to Soviet soldiers. It was unveiled in 1945. Either side of the memorial is a Russian tank - the first two tanks to enter the city.

The monument commemorates over 300,000 Soviet soldiers who died in the battle for Berlin in WWII.
