by MikeAtSea

Brage Open Air Museum lies within walking distance of the centre of Vaasa. The museum consists of a complete 19th-century farm with interesting buildings and interiors from the Swedish-speaking part of Ostrobothnia. Permanent exhibits include the decorated Wedding Room, the Girls’ Clothing Loft and the Seal Hunting Museum. There is a model of a stone labyrinth on the ground as well.
A special exhibition “A Vasa Home from the Beginning of the 20th-century” is open by advance booking. The museum is open during the summer months and offers guided tours, special exhibitions and has a café.
