"Chocolate World: See how Hershey's are Made" Hershey Things to Do Tip by SJTravel

Hershey Things to Do: 63 reviews and 120 photos

Hershey Chocolate Company makes MANY of the candy that we (especially Americans) are so fond of eating. The brand not only makes the classic Hershey Bars and Kisses, but also Reeses, Mounds and Almond Joys, Jolly Ranchers, Ice Breaker Gum, Twizzler, Kit Kats, and York Peppermint Patties. Chocolate World is your chance to see how some of their products are made. It is free to get into Chocolate World. They have a couple restaurants/a food court. A huge candy store, with other paraphernalia as well. Also, they offer a "tour" of how their factory works. I use the word "tour" very lightly because although you do go through some sort of guide, it isn't really a tour of a factory. You are really walk along, sometimes ride along, watching this movie of how Chocolate is made. Sometimes, you can see some of the machines used to make the chocolate, but they do not function. At the end, you get a miniature Hershey Bar. I would not recommend wasting your time here, unless you are already in the area and want something to do. If you are at Hershey Park, then you can visit Chocolate World as well.
