Favorite thing: The first thing I do when I get to London is to buy TIME OUT magazine, at least that was my priority until 2012 when I had to pay 2.50 pounds because since then it became one of the first free magazines in London.
It is a weekly bible of the nightlife (and more), comes out every wednesday and gives information about every concert, in every big or tiny venue, the prices, the times etc

Of course its very useful as a theatre guide, a film guide, for art exhibitions, for museums, for restaurants and and and and.... want more? :)

Of course for major concerts it is better to do your search online because you may have to book your tickets in advance to avoid sold out!
