Another interesting building along Jalan Tun Haji Openg is the beautiful Kuching Post Office. The building was built in 1931 during the reign of Rajah Charles Vyner in a neo-classical style with tall Corinthian columns standing at the entrance.

This is still a functional post office where you can purchase stamps or send mail but I doubt that will be the case for long because the council may want to preserve the building & convert it into a museum

Address: Jalan Tun Haji Openg, Kuching, Sarawak
Directions: From the Main Bazaar, walk towards Carpenter Street and you will come across a huge white building with Corinthian columns
