"Kensington Park" Kensington Palace & Gardens Tip by MichaelFalk1969

Kensington Palace & Gardens, London: 125 reviews and 264 photos

A very beautiful landscaped park with several attractions. Within the park lies Kensington Palace (home of the late Diana Spencer) - in the nearby Orangery you will find a good cafe. Kensington Park has several remarkable monuments, for example the Prince Albert memorial, the cute Peter Pan statue, and the rather obscure statue dedicated to physical energy. The most attractive part of the park is the Serpentine, an artificial canal that is home to many birds. I recommend starting your tour of Kensington Park at the Lancaster Gate by the "Italian Fountains" - from there, you have the best view on the Serpentine.
