This American style restaurant is right on Main Street in Canandaigua. And when I say right on the street I mean they have a raised cafe area right on the street, besides the main dining area indoors. The place is open nightly after 3pm (and all day Saturday and Sunday).

Inside there is a full bar and dining room. The atmosphere is casual, with dark wood and overhead lighting. The tables are American style with comfortable wooden chairs.
The staff are local people ready to serve with a smile. After taking your drink order, the waitress will get your meal order started after giving you a few minutes to peruse the menu. The meal is served within 15 minutes (enough time for a little chat and to finish the drink).
Both the steak and the chicken are good choices (they also have Italian dinners and vegetarian wraps) and they come with mashed potatoes and a choice of vegetable. You can also order an appetizer or soup or salad (at a small extra cost).

The meal was good and the price was $15 per person (reasonable for this area).

The place is never really overcrowded so reservations are not necessary. The phone number is given below if you want to reserve though.
