Restaurant Villa Ortegas: "Something alittle more fancy???" Puerto Nuevo Restaurant Tip by malianrob

Villa Ortegas is one of the newer places to eat in Puerto Nuevo and I had never gone to eat here til now. On this trip we went down to Mexico with a few friends their kids, our kids and my sister's family.
This place is located all the way to the back of the little town and to the left. It is probably the biggest restaurant here. The views are spectacular and they are very accomodating to big parties. You can chose to eat inside, outside (covered patio), or on the lower level which I didnt even know exsisted. At the lower level you are practically on the water. The service is good but they are pretty busy. It is alittle more expensive here but not by much. I did notice that they serve alittle less food than at Chela's.

Favorite Dish: Besides the lobster, they are known for their fresh baked rolls filled with jalapeno spread. It is very good, even the kids liked it.
This place was good and I think most people woiuld really like it here, especially people that are alittle afraid to eat at the little hole in the walls. Although i more than likely would come back, i still prefer Chela's.
