The Brackenbury, London: 1 reviews and 4 photos
A sunny Sunday found us driving through the back streets of Hammersmith, and when we happened upon The Brackenbury its inviting facade tempted us to stop off for some lunch.
This small restaurant/café has a shaded terrace at the front and an attractively decorated interior which looks like someone's living room (in a good way). Service was welcoming and relaxed.
Favorite Dish: We were seated at a table on the terrace which was the perfect place to sit and enjoy the summery day. Although a little warm for it, we both ordered the Roast rib of beef, with roast potatoes & Yorkshire pudding. The meat was delicious and the potatoes were nice and crispy. A small glass of wine accompanied our meal perfectly.
No room for dessert (for a change!) though the Moist chocolate cake with clotted cream did pique my interest....we may just have to return.
