We have placed all of our Tips and pictures together for this part of the Morbihan Department under Carnac, even though several communities are involved (identified in each Tips) because they are not well known as Carnac is. For comments by others you will have to look in the listings by others under Bretagne>Things to Do (over 120 of wich they are only a few): Carnac (7+), Auray (3), Quiberon (2), Ste.-Anne-d'Auray(2), La Trinite-sur-Mer. The central town of Locmariaquer is not listed at all (probably too difficult to spell). Under each of the above community sites there are also a few Tips: Auray (7), Carnac (5+), La Trinite-sur-Mer (2), Quiberon (4) and Ste.-Anne-d'Auray (5). The Alignements , cairns, tumuli, menhirs and dolmens and the museum at Carnac are here as the reason tourists and sightseers to visit Southern Brittany although most people come for the beaches and water at the shores and the large is;and Belle Ile just south.
