For 3 decades this sculpture stood in the plaza of the World Trade Centre as a symbol of world peace. Conceived by artist Fritz Koenig it was damaged during the tragic events of September 11th , 2001 and transferred to the Bowling Green where it stands as a monument to those killed.

On the main photo you will see the eternal flame.

Take the subway to Bowling Green Station, Lower Manhattan.
