"Baroque in Barcelona!: Betlem Church" Esglesia Evangelica De Betlem Tip by Elisabcn

  Betlem Church
by Elisabcn

This is one of the few examples of baroque architecture in Barcelona. It was built between 1680 and 1732 by the architect Josep Juli. Although the fašades are in baroque style, inside the church still follows the canons of the catalan gothic style (one unique nave with a lot of chapels around). Nowadays it is not very rich decorated. It lost all its main treasures during the Civil War.

Address: Rambla 107
