  The villa hosting Silviu's Restaurant
by Romanian_Bat

A painter's house (the paintings of whom lie all around) finely preserving that touch of elegance and style typical for the bygone era before WWII, a charismatic service, a good (mostly Italian) cuisine and a good selection of wine. Add to that a quiet terrace (as oposed to that "dum radio tune over and over again" in most places in this city) and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere far from the madding crowd, i.e. in Cotroceni Quarter.

Favorite Dish: I would go back there anytime for a portion of penne al'arabiatta and that superb baked apple with honey and nuts... But actually this is one of the few places where I would let them choose for me as well. Thing that I would not do in more than 4-5 places in this city ;)

Address: 44 Louis Pasteur, Cotroceni Quarter
Price Comparison: more expensive than average
Directions: The restaurant lies at a 10 minute walk from Eroilor Metro Station. Otherwise a taxi from the centre should not be more than EUR 3 (equivalent in lei).
Phone: 021-4109184
Price: US$31-40
Rating: 5
Theme: Italian

Review Helpfulness: 3.5 out of 5 stars
