Looking back over the causeway from the castle

Get the ferry across if it is high tide, or walk over on the causeway if it is low tide. The island is home to a fantastic medieval castle and a lovely church.

The castle is packed with history, and every room is full of interest. Lots of paintings, preserved living rooms, an armoury, and great views.

The ferry is very cheap and is good fun. It only takes 5 minutes.

Address: Marazian - Cornwall
Directions: Just follow the road signs either to Marazian, or you will see the brown road signs saying "St Michaels Mount".

Park your car in the car park very near the beach/ferry. I can't remember how much it was but it wasn't expensive.
