Favorite thing: There are a variety of good and unusual sculptures on the Quayside. This is my favourite, Swirle Pavilion. To be honest, I'm not sure what it represents but it is engraved inside with place names such as Malmo and Rotterdam, so there is obviously a seafaring connection.
Incidentally, the gold ball is 2 metres in diameter, and is 3.5 - 4 metres off the ground and it's unlikely that it is really solid gold!
