The concentration camp that was also called the forgotten camp is some 40 kilometres outside of Gdansk. It was the first camp to be established outside of Germany and the last one to be liberated two days after the end of the war. The camp was classified as a death camp since it had gas chambers and crematorium. Since the Nazis did not have the time to destroy the camp as they did elsewhere one can still see most of the installations completely intact. For more details on the camp please visit my Sztutowo page

Directions: In the town of Sztutowo some 30 - 40 kilometers East of Gdansk
