"Boys Fun" Isle of Walney Favorite Tip by nickandchris

Favorite thing: We have an old air rifle that Philip has become very interested in. When we wild camp on Walney, it's an ideal spot for him to practise his shooting. A nice level, grassy area where he can set himself up with targets constructed from plastic bottles full ofwater. Needless to say, he is only allowed to shoot when no-one else is in the vicinity and all targets are put in our rubbish bag and taken home when finished with. He is getting to be a really good shot; so much so that Nick splashed out on a new air rifle. It has yet to be tried...!!!!

Fondest memory: Allowing Philip to enjoy himself (and challenge himself) with a real activity that is so often unavailable to his age group.
