by monkeytrousers

The Swiss Court is actually the oldest part of the Hofburg complex. It formed a part of the castle that used to be on the site and takes its name from the Swiss battalian that used to be stationed here. You can find the entrance to the treasurey in the court which contains lots of valuables from the Austrian and empire's past.
