The fishermans mission Mallaig: "A worthwhile mission" Scotland Restaurant Tip by kat-m

We discovered the mission many years ago when we were camping on a beach, after about 3 days we began to feel somewhat grotty. A trip into Mallaig we discovered you could go to the mission and have a hot shower. They provide fresh towels ,soap and the most welcoming shower I ever had. Then we tucked into the best full scottish breakfast. The mission is not expensive the staff are pleasant and welcoming and the profits go to a very worthy cause , Mallaig has had its share of tragedy and it is important that these places are supported. On this holiday the six of us had breakfast including tea/ coffee and toast for £20.

Favorite Dish: I have only ever had breakfast and lunch but have never been dissapointed, other visitors also commented on the value and quality of the food and service.

Address: Mallaig town centre
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Directions: Entering mallaig the mission is situated on the left of the road after the roundabout.
