"Neighbourhoods in Toronto" Toronto Things to Do Tip by liveinTO

Toronto Things to Do: 1,347 reviews and 2,332 photos

One of the best things about Toronto is the different neighbourhoods. Many of them are great places for people to shop, eat and explore the beautiful houses. The Beach is my personal favourite - with the added bonus of the water steps away. Others that are similar to the Beach include Bloor West Village (including High Park), Danforth Ave. (The Danforth specializes in Greek cuisine), Forest Hill Village (Eglinton west of Ave. Rd) and Yorkville (for those with more expensive taste). Queen, west of University, is great for shopping (eclectic). The St. Lawrence Market area is great too.

Address: All over Toronto
Directions: The Beach (Queen St E east of Woodbine); Bloor West Village (Bloor St W east of Jane); Danforth Ave (west of Pape); Yorkville (close to Bay and Bloor); Queen Street W. (from University to past Spadina); St. Lawrence Market (Front St at Jarvis).
