"Cesky Krumlov Castle" Cesky Krumlov Things to Do Tip by monkeytrousers

Cesky Krumlov Things to Do: 166 reviews and 314 photos

The castle is argueably Krumlov's biggest selling point. The castle is very fairy-tale esque with all the buildings being painted in bright colours and attractive murals. The main three diferent families have lived in the castle are the Krumlovs, the Schwarzenbergs, and the Rozmberks, all adding bits onto the castle and making thier marks.

As well as the appartments, there is a tower, a rococo theatre, a bear pit, a bridge with great views of the river and some beautiful gardens to see in the complex. Entrance prices depend on what you want to see:

Tour 1 - 160 Kc - Renaissonance and baroque appartments and the ball room
Tour 2 - 160 Kc - Rooms used by the Schwarzenbergs in the 19th Century
Tour 3 - 200 Kc - Rococo Theatre
Tower - 35 Kc
Gardens - Free

The castle is shut Monday for admissions but the grounds are still open.
