"Jaipur..." India Things to Do Tip by coceng

From Bikaner, I took the train to Jaipur.
Jaipur is still in the state of Rajashtan.
A busy city with lots of things to see !
I was there for 2 days but seriously, tourists could stay a few more days here, maybe a week.

The most attraction is The Old City.
Also known as The Pink City.
There are bazaars & shops inside the old city, surrounded by walls & their gates.
The most distinctive landmark inside the old city is Hawa Mahal.
It's a five storeys building built in 1799 for the royal ladies & the concubines to watch the city's life.

The City Palace also inside the old city.
Large area & most have been re-constructed to suit the mass tourism.

Also Jantar Mantar, an observatory built in 1728 with some weird bizarre structures.

Directions: Jaipur is easy to reach.
Trains, planes & buses travel to/from this famous city in India.
