Favorite thing: Although seeing New York skyline was not a goal, if you look around you when you ride the ferry, you WILL see it.

Of course the twin towers of the World Trade Center are no longer there, but since I was never in NYC when they were there, I did not miss them.

Because New York geography is not that familiar to me, I'm really not sure if my pictures are of New York or Brooklyn or what the buildings are. I think the tall buildings that one might see include the Chrysler building, the Empire State building, and possibly One Chase Manhattan Plaza, the Standard Oil Building and the American International Building.

Fondest memory: The last picture is from the NPS movie about immigration to Ellis Island - what the immigrants would have seen.
