Fast food outlets are everywhere, and among familiar names like Burger King and McDonald?s there are Clock and Max, two Swedish chains. Pizzerias are also popular and good value for money. Local newspapers often carry restaurant advertisements for special offers or fixed-price menus.<BR>
The ubiquitous korvkiosk sells fast food such as grilled chicken, sausages, hamburgers and tunnbrödsrulle (a parcel of mashed potato, sausage and ketchup or mustard wrapped in soft bread). Some serve strömming (fried herring) and mashed potato.
