<div style='background color=green'><center><b><font color=white>SHOPPING TIPS</font></b></center></div><BR><font color=green>Shopping in Sweden is rarely cheap, but it is always good value. For a bargain, the words to look out for are 'rea', which means sale, and 'extrapris', which does not mean extra, but special low price.<BR>

<li><B>SHOPS</B> on the whole open 9.30am - 6pm on weekdays and until between 1 and 4pm on Saturdays. A lot of shops are open on Sundays as well, usually from noon till 4pm. Shops generally close early the day before a public holiday.<BR>
<li><b>DEPARTMENT STORES</b> may remain open until 8pm or 9pm and possibly also on Sundays.<BR>
<li><b>POSTOFFICES</b> generally open 9.30am - 6pm on weekdays and 9.30am - 1pm on Saturdays.<BR>
<li><b>BANKS Monday</b> - Friday 9.30am - 6pm, but closed on Saturdays. The bank at Stockholm Arlanda Airport's arrival hall is open daily 8am - 10.30pm and at the departure hall MOnday - Friday 6.30am - 9pm, Saturday-Sunday 6.30am - 8pm.
