Al Qatif Shopping: 3 reviews and 7 photos
The oldest regonal fish market with history of more than 150 years old, and the largest where local fishermen come to sell up to 250 ton of fresh fish every day either to the big traders, or to the normal customers.
The maket is open every day, the big selling waves happen twice a day, in early morning, and shortly after the sunset.
Tons and Tons of fresh fishs sold in this maket, providing large supply of sea food to the locals, and the rest of the kingdom.
You will find more and more foreign workers replacing the locals in this market which reflects how low the profit margin in this old traditional market.
Personally, I know so many local fishermen who continue to go fishing, and selling in this old market, and they will continue to do so.
