Egeskov Slot / Egeskov water-castle is a Must, when travelling around the island of Fyn and you will find it about 40 km south of Odense ! (Dont confuse it with another place with the same name south of Aarhus !!) Egeskov castle is still inhabited by the family of Count Michael Ahlefeldt-Laurig-Bille and had been in posession of his family for more than 200 years now.
The wide park of Egeskov slot is open to the public. You have to pay an entrance fee of 60,- Danish Kronas and then you can see all museums there and the deer-park, a huge tree-house and a baroque garden-labyrinth.

The castle and museums are open from April to September
from 10.00 a.m. till 05.00 p.m.
in july even untill 08.00 p.m.
Entrance-fee to the park is 60,- DKR
extra-fee to visit the castle interior : 55,- DKR
