  Butrint, remains of the aqueduct.

Butrint was a large city and the bathhouses that had been built required a lot of water. Fresh water was brought by an aqueduct that collected water from several springs around Vrine, 6 km away. The aqueduct crossed the Vivari channel. The photo shows one arch of the aqueduct.
