Invalides is a beautiful building with an evident gold dome, located on the left bank. This building is adjoined to the Military Museum and two beautiful chapels that have been made to commemorate soldiers. The tomb of Napolean is found in the principal building, the one with the dome, as well as the tombs of other prominent french military leaders.

I would not necessarily recommend visiting Invalides, because it seems pricey for what it is. However, if you are in Paris for long enough and have a deep interest in the military, I would visit, because then you would find it interesting!

The price for a student and anyone below the age of 26 is 6 euros, on presentation of a valid studend ID card or proof of age.
It is free for people under the age of 18.
Otherwise, it is 8 euros for adults.
