  Façade of the Synagogue
by mikey_e

The Synagogue, built in 1925, is still standing thanks to the fact that it was requisitioned by the Red Cross during the Second World War. You cannot enter the synagogue - like most Jewish sites of worship in Greece it is open only to congregants and those who make an appointment with the proper authorities. You can, however, photograph the outside of the building.
