  Monument for the Armenian Genocide
by mikey_e

The Armenian community in Greece is small, but, like the tiny Jewish minority, it maintains a presence in the community's historic centres in Greece. There is a small but interesting monument to the victims of the Armenian Genocide near the Armenian Orthodox Church and Cultural Centre that provides a good opportunity for picture taking. Its simple design is contrasted with the decorative nature of the Armenian script.
