Hotel Ibis: "Hotel near Railway station" Morocco Hotel Tip by DurhamTom

Morocco Hotels: 268 reviews and 433 photos

Perfect accomodation in the new town - right next door to Marrakech Railway Station and therefore ideal stopoff point before catching the 7am train North.
Not particularly atmospheric, follows the typical Ibis Hotel / Accor identikit model but very comoftable and for a high-standard hotel very cheap. Also only a five minute walk from the centre of the comparitvely upmarket Gueliz shopping district. Nice to have a large swimming pool too in the hot weather and the buffet breakfast is not too bad either.
On the whole its a Western Hotel with not much atmosphere, but a very cheap western hotel, a nice place to relax, especially after a week staying in the heart of the chaotic Medina!

Unique Qualities: Location - perfect for trains and the New Town.

Address: Next door to ONCF Rail station.
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Directions: Ville Nouvelle.
Price: US$20-40
Theme: Hotel
