"Bugis Street" Singapore Things to Do Tip by muratkorman

This is a very lively area where you can find a lot of shops. There is a market building with lots of small shops/stalls selling hawker food, textile, shoes and other souvenirs. It is very crowded during weekends. On the entrance of this market building you can find some shops selling fruit juices and coconut. The market building is like a labyrinth of narrow passways and this is how they manage to have so many shops inside. You can also go up to the second floor from stairs for some more shops. On the exit you will find fresh fruit like mango, durian, plums, etc being sold.

Address: Bugis Street
Directions: Take MRT to Bugis Station (EW12), Opposite Parco Bugis Junction area
