"Slovakian national pride!" Bratislava Castle Tip by ShonaM

Bratislava Castle, Bratislava: 102 reviews and 204 photos

I loved the museum inside the castle, it was full of random insights into Slovakian history and patriotism (in a fun, celebratory sense, not a sabre-rattling xenophobic sense). When I was there it had a huge exhibit dedicated to a Slovakian national folk instrument, a selection of Leonardo da Vinci sketches, some art and interiors, and a large section on the important role of travelling tinkers in Slovak history! it might not be as grand or imperial as Prague but Bratislava castle is charming, and Slovaks are great! The castle gardens and the surrounding area are lovely fro a walk too.
