Located along the east shore of Lake Okanagan at the southern limits of Kelowna, Bertram Creek Regional Park is one of the quieter beaches to visit in the area. Although the beach is tiny and doesn't have the finest sand, what makes it one of my favourites is that it's surrounded by 44 acres of forested parkland at the mouth of Bertram Creek. There are picnic sites, change room/washroom facilities, and free parking. If you're looking for a scenic drive without straying too far out of Kelowna, this is a nice choice. Unlike other beaches in Kelowna, this one is less "meat market" and more family-oriented.

Directions: A 20 minute drive south of downtown Kelowna along the southern end of Lakeshore Road just past Cedar Creek Winery and before Okanagan Mountain Provincial Park.
