Next stop on this tour is a few minutes away from the entrance of Bishan Park 1, just across Upper Thomson Road! Approaching the Reservoir you will likely see some monkeys.
The Lower Peirce Reservoir Park is designed around the Eastern shores of the water. Main feature is a breezy 250m promenade with several benches overlooking the Reservoir and its green shores. You can have a look at the very source of Kalang “River” at the dam – and even walk over it.
The Park is mainly used for weekend leisure, but its shores also as a source of income. People hunt patiently for (baby-) lobster here.
