"Climb St. Vitus Cathedral's Great Tower" St. Vitus' Cathedral Tip by bsfreeloader

St. Vitus' Cathedral, Prague: 328 reviews and 578 photos

The panoramic views of the city offered by St. Vitus Cathedral?s Great Tower are difficult to beat. Climbing the tower is free and a great way to burn off some Czech beer. Be warned, however, the 287-step climb is not easy. Not only is it physically demanding, but the spiral staircase is narrow and must accommodate people going in both directions (if you suffer from vertigo or claustrophobia skip the tower and soak in the similar views along the Garden on the Ramparts).
