more than anything else, it's what you gotta do when you go to albay. and luckily mayon volcano can practically be seen from almost anywhere in albay. who can resist taking a picture of one of the wonders of the world with its perfect (well if i remember right, now its not that perfect anymore) cone? this was my second trip to albay and i still had to take another picture. the sight of it especially on a clear day with clear blue skies as a background just takes your breath away.

Directions: the most unobstructed view you can get is probably from the nearby cagsawa ruins so you might as well head towards that direction.
