(1230 H.D.), and that considered the first map for Makkah, and he took its edges by steps, and it's one of the best maps for the holy city until the year 1947 A.D. (1367 H.D.). and used by Snouck and most of whom came after him, and write about the holy city from the travelers and orientalists." Safahat Men Tareekh Makkah page 66.

"This officer is Muhammad Basha Sadiq, and was from the staff officers in the Ottoman government, and wrote the book "Daleel al Haj Lil Wared Ela Makkah Men Kul Faj", and the book is printed in al Matba'ah al Kubra al Ameeriah in Bolaq (old district in Cairo) in 1313 H.D. and he worked in Makkah as an engineer to the Grand Mosque, and appears that he came by an order from Othman Noori Basha the Hejaz Wali, and share in many reforms in the Grand mosque, he ordered to destroy al Seqayah Dome and al Sa'at Dome, and moved the place of the Hanbli stand, and fixed the Mehrab of al Hanafi stand, that these buildings used to obstruct the movement of the prayers.(Maghrabi, 1410 H.D., page 121)." Safahat Men Tareekh Makkah page 66.
