A prominent sight in the Roman Forum, the Church of Santi Luca e Martina was built in the 17th century. The Baroque cruciform church was built by Pietro da Cortona and replaced an older church dating from the 7th century. It sits between the Roman Forum and Forum of Julius Caesar, amid the ruins of Roman temples.
