Tehran Things to Do: 228 reviews and 552 photos

Most of the jewellery we have seen until now, has been made for, and worn by, the men. Here is something for the ladies:

Picture one shows the Ghamarol Saltaneh necklace made from gold and silver with diamonds and emeralds. It is in fact not Iranian at all, but from 19th century Europe.

Picture two shows a necklace made in 1967 of platinum with large green semi-precious stones and smaller white diamonds

Picture three shows another necklace from 1967 with large yellow diamonds and smaller white diamonds.

Picture four. This was one of the few necklaces I actually liked, due to its relative simplicity. This piece of jewellery is made of platinum, brilliant cut diamonds and turquoises.

Picture five: a gold a silver necklace set with diamonds, rubies and spinels.
