Elowah Falls is said to be 289 feet (88 m) tall. I believe that this fall is much shorter and it seemed even shorter than Latourell Falls which is sited as being 249 feet (75 m) and is located near the Multnomah Falls area.
In any case this is one large waterfall. Very picturesque and like Latourell Falls has the Yellow Lichen which grow on the rocks near its crest. The trail to the falls is only .8 miles (1.2 km) but is fairly steep at first.
When visiting this waterfall the presence or absence of wind will greatly affect your experience. The falls are very easily wisped around by even the slightest wind and as can be noted in some of my pictures below the wind can greatly displace the path of the falls.

Directions: This park was difficult for me to find. Staying on the Columbia Gorge Scenic Highway past Ainsworth State Park is difficult since every turn wants to put you back on I-84. After exit 37 the Park is on your right.
